CREDE Announces Acquisition of Murow Development Consultants, Expanding Expertise in Horizontal Land Development

CREDE (Commercial Real Estate Development Enterprises), a national leader in commercial real estate development and project management, has announced the acquisition of DirtOnu Inc. dba Murow Development Consultants, an Orange County, California-based firm specializing in horizontal land development infrastructure. The acquisition, which closed on Friday, Oct. 11, significantly enhances CREDE’s capabilities across all phases of development, further solidifying its position as a fully integrated service provider in the industry.

The acquisition marks CREDE’s continued expansion in high-growth markets, building on its portfolio of more than 1,900 projects across multiple asset classes, including industrial, retail, multifamily, healthcare and more. Notable projects include the renovation of Turtle Bay Resort, an 880-acre master planned hospitality project located on Oahu's North Shore, awarded “Renovation of the Year” by NAIOP in 2004; and the development of the 170,000-square-foot University of Utah Health Center, along with a 150,000-square-foot Class A medical office building, named Salt Lake City “Development of the Year” by NAIOP in 2020.

Since 2018, CREDE has grown from 32 employees across eight states to 165 employees in 27 states, reflecting its rapid growth and national presence. With the addition of Murow’s 85 team members, CREDE further enhances its ability to offer services that span all phases of horizontal and vertical development. In Los Angeles, Murow contributed to Carmel Partners’ 520 Mateo St. project, a mixed-use urban development featuring live/work apartments, office and commercial space. Murow managed dry utilities and power installations, undergrounded overhead utility lines and relocated high-pressure gas lines, exemplifying their dedication to complex urban infrastructure and community enhancement.
